Rockstar had already said Justice wrote GTA 6's score. Now the score has a release date. It comes three weeks after the game's November 19 launch.
What was announced
- Release date: December 11, 2026. Pre-orders are open.
- Labels: Because Music, Ed Banger and Rockstar Games.
- Formats: streaming, CD and vinyl. Reports describe a 2xCD and 3xLP set, in a standard black and a limited clear edition.
- Length: 30 main tracks, plus bonus digital tracks. Together they make a suite of about three hours, per WorthPlaying.
- How it plays: Rockstar says the score responds to how players move through Vice City and Leonida.
"Pusher" with Gesaffelstein
"Pusher" is the second preview from the score. Press describes it as a long, brooding instrumental. It is the first time Justice has worked with fellow French producer Gesaffelstein. The first preview was "Flowers in a Hurricane" with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released October 15.
Not the same as The Album
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a different release. It is 34 original songs by many artists, out November 19 with the game. The score is Justice's instrumental music for missions and the open world. The in-game radio stations are a third thing.
