About State of Vice
State of Vice exists because GTA 6 coverage has a noise problem. The biggest game launch in history has spawned thousands of videos and articles presenting leaks as facts, inventing release dates, and recycling debunked rumors for clicks. We do the opposite.
The one rule
Every claim on this site is labeled. Confirmed means it traces to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or official material — trailers, the Newswire, earnings calls. Rumor means it comes from leaks or reports and has not been verified, no matter how widely it's repeated. If we can't place a claim in one of those two buckets, we don't publish it.
How we work
Pages here are living documents. When official news breaks — a trailer, pre-orders opening, a date change — the relevant pages are updated within hours, and every page carries its "Last updated" date. We'd rather correct a page quietly and quickly than be first and wrong.
Who runs this
State of Vice is an independent, fan-run project — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive in any way. Grand Theft Auto is a trademark of Take-Two Interactive. Trailer embeds on this site play directly from Rockstar's official YouTube channel.
How the site makes money
Some links may be affiliate links — if you buy a console or game through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never affect what we mark confirmed or rumor. We don't sell coverage and we don't run sponsored claims.
Questions, corrections, or a rumor you want checked? The fastest route is through our YouTube channel comments — we read them.
